Blue Mirror aims to reshape its existing brand, enriching its story and philosophy to convey the unique values that define Blue Mirror. The brand seeks to present a message of inclusivity, modernity, and equality to every user, positioning itself as the last beacon of hope in a busy and ever-changing world, as well as the first step towards a new life.
Who will I be speaking with?
The primary audience for Blue Mirror consists mostly of young Chinese Canadians in Vancouver, aged 20-35, including students, couples, or newly married spouses. Most of this demographic is dealing with pressures and anxieties stemming from social interactions, romantic relationships, and family dynamics.

Idea
When I received this brief, I pondered what kind of interpersonal relationships Blue Mirror aims to convey. In conversations with the founders, I learned that their goal is to create a space for equal dialogue, rather than a traditional clinic setting. They believe that each person is an independent entity, and thus, the best relationships between individuals are those that intersect appropriately, rather than merge completely. On the premise of respecting oneself and others, communication serves as the foundation for understanding each other and mutual forgiveness.

Aim
By redefining its brand identity, I aim to highlight its commitment to providing a safe and balanced space for individuals seeking understanding and support. Everyone, regardless of their background or challenges, is treated with equal respect and dignity. The brand places greater emphasis on Blue Mirror's philosophy, hoping that individuals can maintain relative independence and mutual understanding in their relationships. It is a journey of mutual understanding.


Typography
Ubuntu, with its exceptional screen and print display capabilities, is suitable for dissemination across various media. This sans-serif font, full of geometric sensibility, imparts a rational feel, while the treatment of detail curves adds a touch of humanistic sentiment to this rationality. It aligns well with the brand philosophy emphasized by the brand, blending logic with a human touch.


Color
Choosing blue and teal as the brand colors, blue often conveys a sense of professionalism, while the teal, reminiscent of lake water, offers a feeling of tranquility.
